Alumni Community
With around 20,000 alumni worldwide, Aalto EE provides a valuable network for you to connect with your fellow alumni. We offer you access to the latest knowledge and an extensive global business network.
Our global Alumni network consists of graduates from Aalto EE’s and its predecessors' MBA, EMBA, and DBA programs, and participants of open enrollment programs with a duration of more than four months.
Our mission is to offer our Alumni access to the latest knowledge and an extensive global professional network. Together with our Alumni and Aalto University, we build lifelong networks and partnerships by providing developing opportunities enhancing our Alumni’s personal brand, and by offering quality services and benefits. Aalto EE Alumni is a community whose members always see Aalto EE as the first choice when considering lifewide learning options and professional development.
Aalto EE arranges inspiring alumni events regularly, part of them together with Aalto University. Aalto University Alumni community consists of around 100,000 people from different fields, including technology, arts and design, and business.
Aalto EE Alumni can participate in some MBA programs' study modules, open programs, and study tours with a specific alumni fee.
Who are the alumni?
To qualify for Aalto EE alum status, participants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Complete Aalto EE's or its predecessors' MBA, Executive MBA, or DBA program,
- Complete Organization-specific, tailored Executive MBA program, or
- Complete an open enrollment program with a duration of more than four months.
Starting January 1, 2025, participants can also qualify for alum status by completing:
- An open enrollment program with at least ten full days of interactions over time, either face-to-face or online, or
- A combination of open enrollment programs that together total at least ten full days of interaction
This policy does not affect Aalto EE's current alumni. It is effective for participants starting programs after January 1, 2025. Days accumulated before this date will not be considered.

After completing your program, remember to add your education to your LinkedIn profile. Select Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development as your school and fill in the program details, this will enhance your professional profile. For EMBA graduates, the official name of the program is Aalto Executive MBA, or the short form Aalto EMBA.

Verification of MBA and EMBA Studies
The official verification of studies may be ordered at verify@aaltoee.fi. The verification is a document equipped with the signature of an Aalto EE representative verifying the graduation from the MBA or EMBA program organized by Aalto EE. Kindly note that verifications are subject to a charge.
