Malicious cyber operations target both businesses and individuals, and cyber security risks have only increased in recent years.
The Current Topics on Information Security and Data Protection online course on information security data protection will present the events that took place in Nordic countries at the end of 2023 and offer practical tips on how to operate in the online world. The course covers topics such as what to do in the event of a cyber-attack, how a large-scale phishing attack unfolds, and who in the company is ultimately responsible for cybersecurity issues. The course was published in February 2024.
The online course includes a five-question final test.

This is a self-paced and text-based course with links to case studies for further reading for those interested in the topics. The estimated duration of the online course is 15-30 minutes.
The online course will cover the following topics with examples:
- Cybercrime and online scams
- Data leaks
- Bypassing two-factor authentication
- Serious warning on phishing
- Subcontractor data leak
- Leadership and board responsibility
The course includes practical tips on information security and data protection. It includes a five-question final exam that must be passed. The test can be taken more than once.
