Understanding novel technologies, applying the principles of sustainability, and adapting to the rapidly changing operating environment are essential skills. Energy Business Professionals is a training program for energy sector professionals and executives looking to improve their decision-making and leadership skills in this constantly evolving field. The program is designed specifically for the energy industry, and it provides perspectives on business development and tools for leading change in the participant's own organization.
The program focuses on the outlook for change in the energy sector’s operating environment, both internationally and in Finland. It introduces participants to the challenges facing the industry and the role of strategy, stakeholder relations, customer engagement, financial planning, and performance leadership. Other themes include sustainability, forecasting, service design, innovation, knowledge leadership, and continuous improvement.
4.5 ECTS credits can be transferred from this program to the Aalto Executive MBA or the Aalto MBA program.

Contents and Schedule
The program consists of five study modules (10 days), the Essentials of Data and Analytics online course, which the participants will complete independently, as well as a variety of exercises for more in-depth learning.
The study modules comprise interactive lectures delivered by instructors who have experience of both the academic environment and the world of business, which are followed by discussion, group exercises, and individual assignments to enforce learning.
