Artificial Intelligence is a technological revolution equivalent to the internet and smartphones. It has already irreversibly changed the way we work. At the same time, there are also greatly exaggerated expectations and unrealistic hype associated with AI.
In the Human-centered AI workshop, you will learn what AI really is and how it can be used in knowledge work, how AI can change how we work, what limitations AI has, and where it should not be used. Additionally, you will learn to use various AI methods, such as text production and evaluation, image and sound production, information retrieval, summarization, clarification, and input formatting. The training also delves into AI source criticism, ethics, and evaluation.
The AI platforms used in the workshop are ChatGPT, Dreamstudio, MidJourney, Soundful, Runway ML and Eleven Labs.

Lauri Järvilehto
Lauri Järvilehto is a Professor of Practice at Aalto University and Director of the Aalto Ventures Program.
He is a serial entrepreneur, philosopher, author, musician, and Sherlock Holmes fan. He is the founder of the Finnish Academy of Philosophy and serves on the Board of Directors of Unicef Finland. He has written several bestselling books on thinking and learning and is an active public speaker worldwide.
Lauri Järvilehto has a PhD from Jyväskylä University.
