Introduction to Information Security Management

Widespread use of information technology makes interconnected societies more vulnerable to cyber threats and attacks. Malicious actors in cyberspace target individuals, organizations, and critical infrastructures, and maintaining information systems security has emerged as a fundamental element for ensuring business continuity and digital resilience. As a result, information security concerns not only the company's IT department but also all members of an organization and beyond.
The Introduction to Information Security Management program teaches the essentials of information security and is relevant for anyone using digital services of any kind. By completing this course, you will earn an Aalto University certificate, demonstrating your attainment of micro-credentials.
During the course, you get to know the key aspects, concepts and objectives of information security as well as assess information security risks while also preparing for cybersecurity incidents and guaranteeing business continuity.
