Leading with Impact

Leading with Impact is a three-day elective module in the Global Leader program and can also be taken as a stand-alone program.

As a leader and executive, you are responsible for the organization's performance and results. Effective operation requires you to have influential leadership skills, as well as the ability to create an inspiring vision for your organization and involve and motivate your team to work together to achieve common goals. At the same time, strategic thinking and prioritization are required to meet constantly changing circumstances.

The Leading with Impact program provides the skills and framework needed for effective and influential leadership in a compact package:

Strong self-awareness is a prerequisite for developing as a supervisor or manager. You will learn to understand the impact of your persona and actions on other people.
You will learn to recognize what actions and behaviors are required for functional interaction in different situations, and how to motivate different people to work towards common goals.
You will learn how to harness the organizational culture to support common goals.
You will learn how to energize by creating relevance and increasing activity to enable growth.

4.5 ECTS credits can be transferred from this program to the Aalto Executive MBA or Aalto MBA program.

Contents and Schedule

The program is delivered over three consecutive days with interactive sessions by top instructors familiar with the academic world and business, discussions, and applied group and individual work.

As a pre-assignment, you will carry out a self-assessment with the help of the world's leading personality survey, Hogan Assessment.
